Catch up with Briggsy

Note – In the last couple of years since Instagram Reels and TikTok have taken off so much, showing suppliers at work at weddings – many couples are happy to just book in their favourite suppliers, prior to meeting or working with them. This is because you already have a very good idea of what you’re going to get. Social media can have a lot of downsides, but this certainly isn’t one – it’s been amazing for couples and suppliers alike.

Hot tip – If you’ve got your eye on your supplier dream team already; celebrant, photo, video, DJ, etc – and you love what you see on their socials and they’ve got great Google reviews, go with your gut! If you’re comfortable and confident – Lock them in before another couple does! ‘

‘Job interviewing’ multiple suppliers in each category is not only a massive administrative task, it will also quickly drain your enthusiam for planning a wedding.

Having said all that, I’m more than happy to catch up for a coffee or beer! (Or on the interweb) I’ll answer any, and as many questions you like!

I do my admin, editing, etc from a co-working space at Eastland, so I’m most often available during the day on weekdays to catch up there. That’s my preferred option, but I understand those hours don’t always suit couples to catch up with me.

Therefore, I allocate a couple of evenings each month for in person catch ups. To save you flicking through dates, you’ll find my next ones on –
